Q: What is a turban, anyways?

A: Turbans are the answer to bad hair days, the dreaded “balding” pattern that happens to most little babes, and in our opinion, the cutest finishing touch to any outfit. They are stylish and versatile hair accessories designed to be worn like a cap or hat. While some babies and kiddos wear bows or head wraps, others prefer the comfy feeling of a complete head covering. In fact, many parents have shared that even the most vigorously bow-intolerant babes enjoy wearing their turbans without the slightest fuss.

 

Q: How long can turbans and wraps be worn?

A: It depends on your babe and your preference. For warmer weather, we recommend against extended wear of non mesh styles as hats and caps have been proven to increase heat retention, which can lead to heat injury. For cooler weather, turbans and wraps can help reduce evaporative heat loss and keep your little one cozy and warm in lower temperatures.

 

Q: Are turbans and wraps adjustable?

A: Yes! Sort of. Our headwraps are designed with generously stretchy fabric that provides a customizable fit, ensuring comfort for your little one. No adjustments are needed for turbans, but wraps can be adjusted to fit tighter or looser to achieve the desired snugness.

 

Q: Are turbans and wraps suitable for newborns?

A: Absolutely! Our headwraps are designed with the delicate little heads of newborns in mind. They are made from soft and gentle-on-skin fabrics that provide a comfortable fit for even the smallest babies. We recommend gently hand washing per product instructions with your desired detergent to minimize the risk of skin reactions associated with new, unwashed baby clothing.

 

Q: What materials are used in your baby headwraps?

A: We prioritize using soft, high-quality stretch fabrics in our pieces to ensure maximum comfort and durability for your little ones. We know how fast kiddos can grow out of their size, so we choose fabrics designed to grow with them, such as Jersey knit, cotton blends, polyester and spandex blends. Embellishments vary by piece and may contain small parts, so you should always supervise children whenever they wear head coverings.

 

Q: How do I choose the right size for my baby's headwrap?

A: Our baby headwraps are almost always made from stretchy knit fabrics that can be worn before and after your child fits within the recommended size ranges. We provide size guidance in the product descriptions, including recommended age ranges or head circumference measurements, to help you make the appropriate selection.

 

Q: How should I care for my baby's headwrap?

A: We recommend hand washing or spot cleaning our baby headwraps using mild detergent. Gently reshape the headwrap and lay it flat to dry, avoiding the knot area. Avoid using harsh chemicals or machine washing to preserve the quality and shape of the headwrap.

 

Q: Can I request a custom baby headwrap design?

A: We love customs! You can DM us on Facebook or Instagram and we can work together to create something just for you.


Q: When you say handmade, what does that mean— really?

A: It means that each and every item has been cut and crafted from raw fabric yardage by hand. Every stitch is carefully placed one by one, without the use of sewing machines or complicated equipment. As such, you may encounter slight, natural variations in sizing and style that result from using traditional hand-sewing techniques. We think it just adds to the charm of a truly one-of-a-kind piece!

 

Q: Are your products safe for infants?

A: Legally speaking, we can’t, in good faith, tell you that any of our products are completely “safe” for any age infant, toddler, or child.  But let us assure you, safety is of utmost importance and the first consideration we make when designing our pieces. All of our pieces are carefully and sturdily secured using either hand sewing techniques, strong knots, permanent adhesives, or a combination of these. Where embellishments including small parts are used, even the most secure attachment of dainty rhinestones could be removed by a particularly determined set of baby hands. We wholeheartedly and completely recommend careful supervision of your baby while they are wearing our products, and never leave your child unattended with our products. Our accessories are not designed, tested for, nor intended, to function as toys or playthings in any form. They are intended to be worn as decorative accessories as tolerated, under attentive supervision only. Q: What are the shipping options available?

A: We ship within the United States and its territories. Economy Shipping: $5.90 up to orders of $74.99, and free for orders $75 and higher. Typical time frames are approximately 5-8 business days for delivery through USPS.

 

Q: How long does it take to make and ship my order?

A: Our current turnaround time (TAT) is 10-21 business days. Please note that this time frame does not include weekends or holidays. We also require an additional 3 business days for order processing. Items advertised as “ready to ship” will be packed after processing, and please allow 1-3 business days for packing.



Q: Where’s my stuff? I got a shipping notification, but there’s been no movement!

A: Once your order is being prepared for shipping, you will receive an automated shipping notification to the email you used at checkout. You can use the provided tracking number to monitor your package's progress. Please note that shipping labels and tracking numbers may be created at any point in the order fulfillment process, and do not necessarily indicate package movement. When your order has been turned over to the courier for shipping, you can monitor shipping progress via the tracking number provided.

 

Q: What if there are issues with shipping or my package gets lost?

A: Any issues or delays that occur during shipping are the responsibility of USPS. If you encounter any problems, such as a lost or damaged package, we recommend contacting USPS directly with your tracking number to file a claim.

 

Q: Do you accept returns or exchanges?

A: We do not accept returns or exchanges for non-defective items since our headwear is handmade to order. However, if you receive a defective or incorrect item due to our error, please contact us within 7 days of delivery for assistance.

 

Q: Do you offer discounts or promotions?

A: Yes, you can receive a discount just by signing up for our email list! We occasionally offer exclusive discounts and promotions via our email list and through social media. To stay updated on our latest offers, we recommend joining our VIP Insiders Facebook community and following us on social media.

 

Q: Can I use a discount code with my order?

A: If you have a valid discount code, you can apply it during the checkout process. Simply enter the code in the designated field, and the discount will be applied to your eligible items.

 

Q: What if I forgot to use my discount code?

A: Unfortunately, we are not able to add a discount code to an order that has already completed checkout. For this reason, we recommended carefully reviewing your order before checking out.

 

Q: Are there any exclusions or limitations on discounts?

A: Some discounts may have specific terms and conditions, such as expiration dates or exclusions on certain products. Please refer to the details provided with the discount for any applicable limitations.

 

Q: I didn't receive a discount code after joining the email list. What should I do?

A: After joining our email list, you should receive a welcome email with any applicable discount code. If you haven't received it, please check your spam or promotions folder. If you still can't locate the email, please reach out to our customer service team for assistance

 

Q: What if the headwear doesn't fit my child properly?

A: We understand that sizing can vary, and it can be hard to choose the right size when shopping online. If the headwear doesn't fit as expected, please contact our customer service team via email or DM on Facebook or Instagram and we'll assist you in finding the right fit for next time. Returns are not typically accepted for sizing concerns, and we recommend donating or gifting any items that your child is not able to comfortably wear.

Q: I’m going through chemo for cancer, are there any discount codes I can use to order a turban to wear while I’m in treatment?

A: As long as we have the means to do so, we offer one free turban to any child or grownup for use during chemo. We ask that shipping costs are covered to ensure this act of goodwill stays sustainable, but we will make your turban completely free of charge. To request a free turban for chemo, or for any questions about our policy, please reach out to us via direct message on Facebook and we’ll be happy to assist.
